The Physics Dept. of Sapienza welcomes the SONY Computer Science Laboratories, a unique reality within the SONY galaxy dedicated to basic research. The meeting will be an opportunity for a mutual comparison on research and development prospects.

SONY Computer Science Laboratories Sony CSL was founded in February 1988 to conduct research in computer science. Its mission was “to contribute extensively to social and industrial development through original research that looks ahead to the 21st century and has the potential to achieve breakthroughs in computer technology.” Nowadays CSL represents a open minded environment where researchers are stimulated to contribute to science in ways that would make a positive impact on human life.
